February Pictures and Stuff

Zachary, Samuel, and Piggie
(Piggie is Samuel's FAVORITE thing in the world,
except for his Bubba of course!)

Doesn't my Bubba look MUCH older than 13!!!

Yep! I even look cute in nothing but a diaper!

OK Mommy, this is a little TOO close for a close up!

I have learned how to clap now!
Yep, I can even clap with a teething cookie in my hand
and chewed up bits in my mouth! :-)

I'll be 14 years old in just about 3 weeks!
Mom and Dad can't believe it!

What? I'm not doing nothing?

OK, so maybe I was, but I would NEVER break it or anything!

I can fall asleep anywhere and in any position
This one was just too cute to pass up! (Dad)

Yeah! I got these people eating out of my hand!

Gotta keep these pearly whites sparkling white!
All 4 of them! :-)

Give me just a couple more weeks,
and I 'll have this walking thing down!

Well folks, those are the most up to date pictures we have. Everyone on our end is doing great! My health continues to improve. I feel better than I have in so very long. God is simply sooo good to us!

On other news, we continue to move forward in our pastoral position search process. We are in various stages of talks with four churches now. One church has had a phone interview with me, another has emailed back and forth with a few questions. Don't know exactly where we are with either of these churches, but as far as we know we are still in their process. We have preached for another church, introductory and a get to know you opportunity you might call it. They have asked me to come back this Sunday. I know they have narrowed their search to two candidates, of which I am one. Pray for both them and us that we will know God's perfect will. The fourth church is trying to find an open Sunday for us to come and get to preach for and visit with them. I was booked on the Sunday they wanted us to come.

All of these churches are great opportunities, differing in size, distance, location, and so many other ways. It will be difficult to discern God's will in all of this, because each of them in their own way would be a great place for us to serve. Just pray for us that God will close the doors he wants closed, and leave open the door He wants us to pass through. We are confident God is in this process somewhere, we simply have to determine where.

So many of you have asked us about coming back to Texarkana, or at least closer to Texarkana. While we would love that for any number of reasons, we haven't felt the Lord has shown us just where He would have us pursue. For that to happen, we would have to see just the right opportunity for us. SO, if you want it to happen, you better get to praying for it! :-) Seriously, as in everything, the Lord's will is supreme and all we are seeking. If His will is here, Alaska, the far side of the moon, or Texarkana, it really doesn't matter. His will is where we want to be. Your prayers are greatly coveted.

Thank you for your many prayers, letters, emails, and support. Your efforts on our part have been richly blessed and are eternally appreciated. We love you.

Micah
